Bio:

Camille Malafosse is a PhD student and affiliate at the Kaldor Centre For International Refugee Law at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Her doctoral research is focused on the involvement of business actors in the international refugee regime, with a particular focus on the ethics and politics of their increasing involvement and reliance upon in the protection and assistance of refugees.

Camille completed a Master of Science in Public Policy and Human Development from the United Nations University/Maastricht University in 2017, and also holds a Master of Human Rights Law and Policy from UNSW. She has worked as a consultant for law firms and governments, and interned with human rights organisations and national institutions. She is also part of the Norwegian Centre for Humanitarian Studies Research Network.

Thesis title: The Ethics and Politics of Business Involvement in the International Refugee Regime
