Susan Reardon-Smith





Susie works as an Academic Support Officer at the Refugee Law Initiative (RLI), based at the School of Advanced Study, University of London. She coordinates and facilitates research across the RLI and its networks, drawing on her experience as both a practitioner and a scholar. Susan works across a number of projects at the RLI, including convening a University of London forum on increasing university support for asylum seekers and refugees. Susan holds an MSc in Migration, Mobility and Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and a Bachelor of Social Science/Arts from the University of Queensland. She also has over three years' experience as a caseworker providing mental health and practical support for refugees and asylum seekers both in the UK and Australia.
