Established in 2022, the Working Group on Internal Displacement Law and Policy builds on the Internal Displacement Research Programme to provide an academic platform for the exchange of ideas, extending and deepening connections, promotion of opportunities, and developing collaborative research on the legal and policy frameworks concerning internally displaced persons. Currently, it has members from all parts of the world.

Key outputs and activities

  • The Working Group hosts bimonthly meetings where members can showcase and receive constructive feedback on their work, as well as share opportunities concerning internal displacement in law and policy.

The Internal Displacement Law and Policy Working Group is convened by Dr Bríd Ní Ghráinne and Professor David Cantor. RLI network members who wish to become involved should email the convenors directly.
