21 March 2018, 3.00pm - 5.00pm
Room 243, Second Floor, Senate House, Malet Street, London WC1E 7HU

The RLI hosts a monthly Refugee Studies Reading Group in London during the academic year. The group is for students interested in refugee law and forced migration studies to discuss important and interesting texts and to build lasting networks and links between them.

Please note that this group is only open to current students as you must be able to access the readings yourself. Details for the session are below, and interested students can also join our facebook group.

This fifth reading group will focus on: The right not to be displaced in international law.

The purpose of the session is to discuss whether and how the articles suggest a right not to be displaced is emerging in international law. Is this plausible, what human rights are engaged and what are the issues?
