Richard Kasereka Ndekeninge





Richard Kasereka Ndekeninge is a doctoral student at the University of Antwerp and a member of the Centre Law and Development at the Faculty of Law of the same University. He is also a lecturer-researcher at the Université Catholique du Graben in Butembo, North Kivu, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

He holds an Advanced Master in human rights from the Université Saint-Louis Bruxelles. He is interested in the rights of internally displaced persons, a phenomenon that has been common in eastern DRC for almost three decades. The subject of his thesis is: IDPs and their property rights over the property they leave behind. Application to North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo.
