Rosanna is a first year MPhil/PhD Demography student at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. Her research focuses on the sexual and reproductive health of displaced young people and issues of measurement. Her MSc Social Research Methods dissertation, submitted in August this year, looked at measurement of modern contraceptive use among displacement-affected populations, using cross- sectional household survey data in Iraq. She also hold a MSc in Population and Development from LSE and BA in Human Sciences from the University of Oxford.

She has an interdisciplinary background, spanning both research and humanitarian programming. She previously worked with Save the Children in Iraq, leading strategy and humanitarian plans to respond to the needs of affected children and communities, including internally displaced people (IDPs). Before this, she worked at Options, an international development consultancy, where she provided technical assistance to governments, UN agencies and civil society partners to strengthen the use of evidence in policy and programming.
