Bio

Abdullah Hamidioglu is a PhD candidate at the Paris-Saclay University in France where he obtained his LLM on Human rights and humanitarian law with the support of the Jean- Monnet scholarship programme. He is alumni of the Galatasaray University Law School (2014). He completed his one-year legal traineeship at the Istanbul Bar Association in 2015 and worked with the European Court of Human Rights as a legal intern in 2016. He works also for La Cimade as a volunteer to uphold the rights of asylum seekers and refugees in France. His main research interests include human rights law, international and European refugee law and the process of Türkiye's accession to the European Union.
