Alemayehu Hordofa is a Ph.D. researcher at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS-Erasmus University Rotterdam) working on humanitarian governance in Ethiopia focusing on the use of human rights-based approach to address internal displacement challenges in Ethiopia. Alemayehu obtained his LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Galway. He has over ten years professional experience and served as a senior Public Prosecutor in Ethiopia’s Ministry of Justice department of National Human Rights Action Plan.
