Bo is a PhD candidate at the School of Law, University of East Anglia, where she is conducting socio-legal research into refugee resettlement in the UK. Her study looks at how resettlement operates in local communities, using qualitative empirical methods to explore how it is viewed, enacted, and experienced by a range of local actors. Bo has a background in the third sector, working in policy and public affairs at a domestic violence charity and with a support service led by and for women seeking asylum in the UK. She is an assistant editor at the Refugee Survey Quarterly.
