Bio

Carla Field is currently undertaking PhD research at the University of Leicester School of Law having begun her academic career with them in May of 2023. Her research focus is on climate change-based displacement and the protection of such individuals. She is keenly interested in the concept of legal hybridity as a potential solution base for the protection of persons displaced due to a declining environment.

As well as her own studies, she is also a graduate teacher at the university, currently teaching EU Law on the core undergraduate module.
