Bio

Daniela Vitiello (Dr. habil.) is tenure track assistant professor of EU law at Tuscia University (Viterbo, Italy), co-coordinator of the Academy of Law and Migration (ADiM) and co-convener of the ESIL Interest Group on Migration and Refugee Law. Dr. Vitiello was postdoctoral fellow at the Universities of Roma Tre, Bern, and Florence, and studied law in Rome (LUISS), Durham, and The Hague, before obtaining her Doctorate from the Sapienza University of Rome. She published a monograph on the external borders of the EU and is interested in the field of EU migration and asylum law, citizenship, fundamental rights, and the rule of law.
