Dr Yusuf Ciftci

Bio

Yusuf Ciftci has a strong interest in the international organisations and the policy dimension of forced migration studies. He is a doctoral candidate in Politics and International Relations department at the University of Southampton in the UK. His doctoral research focuses on influence mechanisms of international organisations on the domestic asylum policy structures in an attempt to shed light on the evolution of asylum policy in Turkey. Provisional title of his PhD is "Asylum Policy Making in Turkey: Nexus between the External Influences and the Domestic Policy Making". He has also been a Teaching Assistant and supported the delivery of the modules regarding International Relations.
