Prof. Liliana Lyra Jubilut

Bio

Liliana Lyra Jubilut is a Professor of the Postgraduate Programme in Law at Universidade Católica de Santos. She holds a PhD and Masters’ degree in International Law from Universidade de São Paulo and a LLM in International Legal Studies from New York University. She was a Visiting Scholar at Columbia Law School and a Visiting Fellow at the Refugee Law Initiative. She is an IOM Migration Research and Publishing High Level Adviser and a member of IOM’s Migration Research Leaders Syndicate. She is also part of the Global Academic Interdisciplinary Network (GAIN) - from the Global Compact on Refugees -, of the Academic Council on the Global Compact on Migration and of Women in Refugee Law network. She coordinates the Research Group “Direitos Humanos e Vulnerabilidades” and the UNHCR Sergio Vieira de Mello Chair, in partnership with UNHCR, at Universidade Católica de Santos.
