Bio
Ramy is an Experienced Chief Judge at the Egyptian Judiciary, a former Senior Public Prosecutor, and Director of Prosecution at the Egyptian Public Prosecution. Beside his judicial title, he is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Bristol. He has a demonstrated history of working in fields of Criminal Justice, Human Rights, International Refugee Law, and Humanitarian Law. Very passionate about Human Rights principles and their integration in the Egyptian judicial system. Ramy has two Masters of Laws (LLM); the first one is in International and Comparative Law from The American University in Cairo, while the second in Human Rights Law from Queen Mary University of London. He is a Chevening Scholar (2019/2020).
