Tonny Kirabira
Bio
Tonny is a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Portsmouth (UK). His research takes a socio-legal approach, to explore the relevance of international criminal justice for victims of gross human rights violations, with a focus on the Rohingya in Myanmar. He is a Visiting Professional at the International Criminal Court in the Hague, Netherlands. As a human rights lawyer, he has been involved in several human rights projects in East Africa and globally, including drafting of Resolutions during sessions of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
